Happy Thanksgiving

So I found a great Pinspiration from Kerruticles. You should check out their site.

I made a first attempt with colors I already had, but it really didn’t jive with me. My orange wasn’t right. Kerruticles called their’s “Saffron” and I didn’t have one that really matched, it was just an orange. Well, I found one as well as the right shade of yellow. I was much happier with my 2nd attempt.

First Attempt:

Two middle finger received a coat of “French White”, by Nina Ultra Pro. Pointer and Pinkie fingers painted with “Courtney Orange”, by Sinful Colors. Thumb painted with “Mister Pookies”, by AILA (ipsy). Stripes on Middle fingers created using “Seashell”, by L.A. Colors, “Courtney Orange” and “Mister Pookies.”

Second Attempt:

Middle Fingers received same “French White” base coat. Stripes created using “Mellow Yellow”, by Sally Hansen, Xtreme Wear (New), “Burnt Orange”, by NYC (New), and “Mister Pookies. Pointer and Pinkies painted using “Burnt Orange”, while thumb stayed “Mister Pookies”.

Day 9 – Rainbow

So the theme for Day 9 is rainbow and I didn’t feel like doing a whole rainbow. So I found a nice mini one.

White: Nina Ultra, “French White”
Blue: Eva, “#170”
Yellow: China Glaze, “Happy Go Lucky”
Red: Revlon, “China Flower”

Day 3 – Yellow

I know I write a nail blog, but it’s been a difficult week and My Father is with me and I wanted to share The Comforter with you. Now the nails.

Today I was babysitting and we did nails. It was…interesting. You paint the nails of 3 four year olds (and a 10 yr old) and see how you do. Each of them chose some form of sparkle and one had me do a heart on each nail. Each in a different color. But they also repeatedly said they loved it. 🙂

For me, it’s on to Day 3- Yellow. The Pinspiration I found has polka dots which are so easy and yet so pretty.

I will not list all the colors I used on the girls. Not only because it’s an exhaustive list, but because there were so many I can’t remember.
Here are mine:
Yellow: China Glaze, “Happy Go Lucky”
Black: Wet ‘n Wild, “Black Creme”.

Saw this on Pinterest. It turned out great. This picture was taken a few days after application, so the tips are a little chipped. But it still looks cute.

Welcome Summer

So, summer as officially begun for me. School ended yesterday and we waved all the kiddys off.
It’s sad, because I’ll miss them. This is after all, my passion and to have to put it on hold, put it aside for the summer makes me sad.
But summer should be fun and happy, so here are my happy welcome summer nails.

My Colors – Yellow

So I only have two yellows, which you can see on my middle and pointer fingers. Apparently I’m not that brave about wearing  yellow.

Princess Series – Snow White

So here are my nails inspired by Disney’s Snow White. Sorry, the upload failed and I didn’t realize.
So I have to say, Disney’s version of Snow White is probably my least favorite of the classic Disney girls. By the way, bows are not easy to paint.

Happy Thanksgiving

These were my Thanksgiving nails, which of course I found on Pinterest. They turned out just like the picture!

Sunny Florida

Anyone who lives in South Florida knows sunny is what we tell the tourists. Usually it rains. But only in the afternoon and only for 30 minutes. So I brought some sunshine with my nails.
The yellow is Happy Go Lucky by China Glaze, and the glitter is a new edition to my collection, City Never Sleeps by KleanColor.

Nope

So I did these today. I don’t know what it is, I just dontlike the way these colors clash. So I’ll redo them after I start some laundry. Stay tuned.
