So I did these today. I don’t know what it is, I just dontlike the way these colors clash. So I’ll redo them after I start some laundry. Stay tuned.
I love how pink and black look together; they just give an idea of classy, funky, sharp, but lady-like. I saw this black crackle idea, and it was really very cool looking. The picture I saw used the crackle as a slanted tip, but I used it for the whole nail, and I really like how it turned out.
The pink is by Wet ‘n Wild, and the crackle is by Elf, I think. I’m currently not at home while I write this, otherwise I could tell you. Anyway, I loved how it turned out but I discovered somthing about the crackle. I don’t know if all crackles will do this or if it was just mine. But after a few days the sharp edges of the crackle start to smudge and it kind of gets blurry and running together. It was very interesting.
So here are my nails; this is before the smudging so it turned out really nice.
This is the picture from which I got the idea. If you click on it, it takes you to the site which is called Nail Art Gallery. It’s got links to tutorials.
It’s back to school time!! I know that most students have already gone back to school already, but my class starts Monday. I’m really excited because I get to go observe and participate in a school. So of course I had to do my nails for the occasion. 🙂 I saw most of these on Pinterest, but of course made them my own. For the composition notebook I used a black crackle, which really turned out great and totally looked like what I was going for. I’m so excited for school and now I’m prepared for it, complete with paper, pencils and notebooks.
I also did my toes. One has to go all out. Education here I come!
Below are the polishes that I used.
I used a matte coat on the pink so they look like erasers!
Just read between the lines.
The crackle came out great!
On through the Blues! This is one of my favorite colors. I think it looks like the heart of a flame. I took one of my inspiration pictures from my Pinerest. I tried cuticle crescents using binder stickers. The base coat is two layers of a fine gold glitter, one by LA Colors Seashell, and one by Sinful Colors This is it. The blue is by Sinful Colors also, Gorgeous.
Here is the inspiration picture, and if you click on it, it will take you to a blog of nail polish that has some very cool ideas.
I also did my sister’s nails. I just recently purchase a cracle which was on sale. I think it turned out really well, and will look really good with other colors too.
