So I got back to my 30 “Day” Challenge and I am trying to incorporate the holiday season as I do. So Day 14, which is flowers I used poinsettias as my influence.
The top shows my Pinspiration and you can see how I altered it to look like poinsettias. Or tried to, haha.

So I’m going to a baby shower on Saturday and I decided to use the invitation as my inspiration for Green Day (haha). I even did a little ‘stache.

Saw this on Pinterest. It turned out great. This picture was taken a few days after application, so the tips are a little chipped. But it still looks cute.
I know I’m late. Sorry. It’s been a crazy December. Had to deal with Mom’s cancer again, my sister’s birthday, tons of holiday festivities. So here are my nails from Christmas and New Years.
So here are my Ariel/Little Mermaid inspired nails. It may have been a week since Disney, but I’m still enjoying it! 🙂
Like jewels brought as a gift for a king.
Is is spring yet? Cause I’m ready. It was warm last week, but I think it forgot this is Florida. Anyway, this my “hopeful for spring” manicure.
Pea-Body – Sally Girl (Sally Hansen)
One layer of Passive – Eva Supreme, so that I only had to do one coat of glitter.
Sparked – Wet ‘n Wild
So last Thursday was the initiation ceremony for my local chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, International Society of Educators. I am the club secretary and we had 15 new members join us. Our club colors are green and purple which represent friendship and modesty.
Green and purple are from the OPIs I got fir Christmas, and the yellow is one of my new China Glaze also from Christmas.
Ok, so I’ve really fallen behind in my posts, I do apologize. So I have several posts to show you. Again I apologize for the delay, these past few days have just been hectic.
First of we have a Buffy inspired nail, specifically Drusilla. I loved the way this turned out, it looked so funky and fun. Drusilla may be creepy, but she’s got great “taste.” Heehee
For Halloween I was Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. I’ve done several Dorothy themed birthdays and I had all the props, and I borrowed the dress from a friend. And other than being a very popular choice, Oz is also a running joke in one of my science fiction shows (Stargate SG1). I had originally done a character on each nail, but they were very blah. So I left Glinda and Elfaba, as well as one Tin Man.
Finally, I did my nails for a Doctor Who convention. I went as Amy Pond, and she tends to go for the more funky nail colors. We had so much fun at the convention!
My girlfriend’s husband is Canadian and since we will all be with our different families on American Thanksgiving and she wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving together we had a Canadian Thanksgiving. We had a good group, everyone brought something, and we were all appropriately stuffed at the end. Kudos Lauren on the fantastic turkey. So I did my nails in a fall leaf motif. I had a maple leaf stamp, but it did not work as planned so I had to attempt a Canadian flag freehand. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!!!
