Christmas cheer to all far and near. Was looking back at my posts. Didn’t realize it had been so long since I had posted. I guess u really have been in a better mood.
I saw this idea (let’s just assume that unless I say different, I saw it on Pinterest, haha) and I like the simplicity and the sparkle.
Here is the pinspiration.
And here is mine.
Merry Christmas 🌲🎄
So I started my day 2, which is orange. I did a gradient nail, which I only ever tried once before and didn’t turn out very well. What I discovered was that you have to get the right sponge. You need one that is not very dense. It went very well, though a little messy. It did require a tad bit of clean up.
As you can see it requires some work around the edges. But it turned out great. I didn’t feel like doing the sparkle void heart, so I just did a layer of sparkle on an accent nail. It works.
White: Nina Ultra Pro, “French White”
Orange: Sally Girl, “Pumpkin”
Sparkle: Pure Ice, “Dazzle Me”
So, a new year. Already. One thing I had planned for this year was I wanted to go back to Disney for my birthday. So I saved and set aside since probably October and put little reminders everywhere to save. So I’m all set. I even saved enough we’re going up the day before and will stay in a hotel so we don’t have to drive in the morning. So very excited.
So this week I did Cinderella inspired nails. But I was very displeased with the first set, so I redid them a day later.
This was the first go. Blech.
I know I’m late. Sorry. It’s been a crazy December. Had to deal with Mom’s cancer again, my sister’s birthday, tons of holiday festivities. So here are my nails from Christmas and New Years.
So the season of Christmas has begun and I am so excited. I have a whole bunch of gifts I have made for my family and I’m really looking forward to spending time with all of them.
These are the first nails of the season, sparkly red with a white glitter. Always add glitter.
I love purple and I found this idea on Pinterest. It worked out pretty much like the picture and I received a bunch of compliments today. Most of them from my students, but still. 🙂
I did these yesterday from one I saw on Pinterest. My stripes aren’t quite as neat or skinny but it turned out pretty.
So I went to a sci – fi convention this weekend. These were my nails for the weekend as they went with both costumes. I had an awesome time and got to meet Nichelle Nichols, the actress who originally portrayed Lt. Uhura.
I don’t remember where I got this idea, but I’m just going to assume Pinterest. I loved how lady like and elegant it looked.
This is another Pinterest find. Love it!
